Sparrow 麻雀

• Typically 8 to 24cm long

• Generally dul-coloured - brown, gray, white or pale ywllow
• 通常是兩種顏色，咖啡、灰色、白或灰色。
• Although omnivorous, they mostly eat seeds and feed on or near the ground.
• 雖然幾乎無所不吃，他們最常吃的是種子且撿食靠近地上的食物。

Wings and flight muscles 翅膀和飛行肌肉

• The wing muscles and feathers are placed in such a way as to form the curve of a bird's wing
• 翅膀的肌肉和羽毛放置而形成彎曲的鳥類翅膀。
• Like an umbrella
• 像是一把雨傘。

Feathers 羽毛

Serve to : 用途：

• streamline the wing
• 讓翅膀呈現流線型
• build up its curve
• 形成彎曲
• give support to the flight feathers
• 提供飛行羽毛的之協助

Interesting fact: 有趣的現象

• May change the feathers of its face and throat up to 6 times in one year!
• 一年最多可能改變臉部及喉部羽毛六次
• the rest of the body's feathers are replaced once or twice in the same period.
• 其他身體部位的羽毛在同週期內可能改變一至兩次。

Hollow Bones 中空的骨頭

Strong, light and hollow bones strengthened with girders
